ABAM Youth Ministry Self reliance II held

ABAM Youth  Ministry Self reliance  II successfully held from February 19-23,2019 at Impur with Mr. Imo Yaden from Anakiyimsen village and Mr. Meren Ozukum from Mokokchung as resource persons. Bamboo craft and natural pig farming  were the main focus during the training. Altogether 23 members from 12 churches attended the training.
In a context where our descent tradition has been almost spurned and averred to be inadequate and  inborn qualities of the youths are wasted without reason by fully depending on government job; unprecedented social disorder may strike anytime. Having noticed the horrendous future, ABAM Youth Ministry has been organising this program for a few years so as the youths to be safe from such future.
The objective of the Training was to preserve our traditional handicraft, inculcate dignity of labour, adopt plastic free atmosphere and eradicate the sense of total dependency on government agencies so that we will live of our own as it should be.
It is so pleasing to see many of our youths on right track for which we owe  a lot to God and we believe one day we will deliver ourselves towards self maturity as we continue the program.
