ABAM Theological Educators' meet held

The ABAM Theological Educators’ meet was successfully held at Impur from May 21 – 23, 2019 under the theme “Relevance of Theological Education in post modern world”.

Altogether 49 Theological Educators comprising of Professors, Lecturers and Ph.D students made their presence in the programme. The programme was initiated and organised by the ABAM Theological Education Board  with the vision that, while maintaining the identity of true disciples of Christ,  the institution may give relevant and contextual theological education whereby when the students go out to serve they will  patently incorporate the whole sphere of ministry thus deliver the need of the people rightfully.

This was the first time in ABAM history to have such a salient programme where teachers of great leaders of Christian ministries come together and cogitate on what would be the right theological setting for this high paced generation. We greatly acknowledge the resource persons Prof. Dr. Imsütoshi Jamir, CTC and Dr. Akok Amer, Pastor, Mangkolemba for demonstrating proficiency in the subject of the theme which we believe will play a pivotal role in shaping our theological education to a greater height.

ABAM keeps the hope that God will keep our great teachers safe and sound and give unshrinking faith so as to transform our society.
