Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) Social Concern Ministry organized the Alcoholics Anonymous Motivational program for Zone 1-7 on May 10, 2024, at Impur.
In his exhortation, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM based on Psalms 3:5, said that despite our rebellious act against God, He always shows mercy by allowing us to breathe afresh, and our gathering is evidence of his mercy. So, in return let everyone aim to save someone's life and make a difference in our society from here on.
While, Mrs. Arenla Lkr, Secretary, ABAM WM in her sharing opined that let us consider ourselves as someone sent by God to save others. We may not be complete in many ways, but believing that God uses even the weakest one, let us give our best to make a difference in someone's life.
During the discussion hour, Kilang Imsong, Director, Life Anew Foundation, Unger led the counselors' group addressing the dynamics of addiction to handle the clients carefully. Mr. Limasangwa, Coordinator, Media & Social Concern, ABAM, led the AA group and addressed the importance of the past for a positive vision.
Altogether 348 people comprised of counselors and AAs from 26 churches attended the program.
As churches continue to seek those who are lost, May God help them to bring changes in so many individuals.
