ABAM Youth Ministry 6th Triennial Conference Held.

The 6th Triennial Conference of ABAM Youth Ministry was successfully held from October 9-11, 2024, at Impur under the theme "Be Rooted," based on Colossians 2:6 & 7. A total of 1742 young people from 171 churches and 13 fellowships, led by the Associate Pastor of Youth, attended the event.

The worship services were graced by insightful speakers, Rev. Dr. Prof. Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary of ABAM, Rev. Talijungla Longkümer, Associate Pastor Women, Ungma BA, and Mr. Toshi Sanglir, Secretary of ABAM YM. Their powerful words resonated with the congregation, leaving a lasting impact on all present.

A highlight of the conference was the "Bible Bee" competition, which saw 53 teenagers participating in a real reflection on the theme "Be Rooted." The recitation of over a hundred Bible verses took center stage and was well received by the youth of the Ao community and beyond. Ms. Chubanaro of Chuchuyimlang BA claimed the first prize, with Benjungsenla of Mangkolemba and Akumtula of Changtongya Town taking the second and third prizes, respectively.

The program included a panel talk in which Mr. Lanutemsü Yaden, Vice Principal of Mt. Carmel School, New Delhi, and Dr. Lanurenla, Principal of Sao Chang College, Tuensang, spoke on the topics "Building a narrative of rootedness: Faith on the periphery" and "The Aos today and tomorrow."

The event brought together ten accomplished individuals from diverse fields with inspiring success stories to share. Dr. Limasenla Jamir, Associate Professor at Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, led the session, guiding these remarkable individuals as they recounted their journeys. The speakers included Temsü Clover, Imkongnükla, Imkongangba, Chubalemla Kichu, Dr. Akümtoshi, Temjen Jamir, Ar. Along, Imkongchuba, Imolangba, and Akala Ayim. Their stories had a profound impact, leaving many feeling motivated and enlightened.
