ABAM Social Concern under Women Ministry organized a 10 days intensive residential training in "Training in Counselling Skills for Drug Abuse and Prevention" from May 9-19, 2025 at Impur. This programme was conducted in an experiential methodology and emphasized Counselling Skill in the frame work in the aspect of pretreatment motivation, detoxification, peer support from Alcoholic Annonymous (AA), rehabilitation and prevention with a holistic (Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual) perspective. This programme was conducted by Dr. B. J. Prashantham Institude of Counselling Psychology (PIC), Christian Counselling Centre,  Vellore -9, Tamil Nadu:India.

A total of 15 participants from 11 churches attended the training. 

We pray for the participants to contribute to the healing of many individuals.
